EISH is a BBBEE Level 2 (100% female & 52% black female owned) company that develops top-class educational content for distribution via a wide range of delivery mechanisms.
Established in 2009, EISH has a unique blend of skills that enables it to work across all media platforms & to produce high-quality, high-frequency digital, broadcast & print content at an efficiently low cost.
All educational resources developed by EISH are aligned to the South African school curriculum & designed to assist learners achieve the desired learning outcomes & assessment standards.
EISH’s current clients include the Department of Basic Education, SABC Education, Mindset Learn & a variety of educational publishers.
Over the past eight years EISH has helped produce more than 4,000 hours of broadcast content for the SABC and Community TV.
In the last three years it has developed more than 2,000 digital and mobile-friendly curriculum lessons – in particular, for Vodacom eschool (launched in 2015) & the SABC Education Virtual Academy (currently in its pilot phase).
EISH’s experienced leadership team ensures that it delivers consistently good educational content, on budget and in time.
• Pinky Rapitsi & Phethile (PK) Khuzwayo both own a 26% share in EISH. Pinky, EISH’s creative director, has a wealth of experience in educational publishing. PK is a talented young TV director, presenter & producer.
• Lisa Blakeway & Nadia O’ Brien are both 24% shareholders in EISH. They have worked across all levels of the education spectrum & are both experienced teachers, content developers, educator- development specialists, editors, publishers, directors & producers.
• The team’s aim with all their projects is not just to provide excellent interactive educational content, but also to ensure the transference of their skills and the development of young people within the educational media industry.
